The LG Electronics booth is always sure to attract attention on the CEDIA Expo show floor, and this year’s installment at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver will be no exception.

For the company’s showcase in booth #2107, integrators can expect big things from LG – as in big OLED screens and big projection from short distances, according to Tim Alessi, senior director of product marketing for LG.

“The CEDIA channel obviously loves large screen sizes, ultra-large screen sizes. We’ll have more big screen sizes than ever on display.”

“The CEDIA channel obviously loves large screen sizes, ultra-large screen sizes. We’ll have more big screen sizes than ever on display, including 86-inch LCD – our NanoCell product – several 75-inch models, so a lot to choose from depending on the need,” Alessi says.

“We’ll also be showing our first 8K models that we’re introducing into the market – an 88-inch OLED 8K and an 8K LCD model as part of our NanoCell lineup – so now you’re going to have a lot of different options to choose from.”

Visitors to LG’s booth at CEDIA Expo 2019 will be sure to get an education on why the company steadfastly stands behind its OLED technology image qualities, as well as its NanoCell properties.

Big Projection, Short Throw Distance on Display

Beyond flat panels, though, LG has also been addressing projection setups of late, with one of the focal points being installation flexibility.

The company’s projectors feature a unique look along with the ability for integrators to place them close to a surface while still producing home theater-size images.

“We have an ultra-short-throw projector that was recently introduced to the market and has been getting a great response,” notes Alessi. “It can project up to a 120-inch screen in only a 7.2-inch throw distance, so that adds a lot of flexibility to a room setup.”

Overall, integrators can expect to see hands-on examples of the premium product lineup LG offers with its various display choices. Not only that, though, but the company will reinforce what it’s been undertaking over the past year-and-a-half to underscore its commitment to the CEDIA channel in terms of integrations, CI-focused product features and more to assist installers.
