Known for its hard-hitting and value-minded subwoofers, SVS has announced its new Soundpath Balanced XLR Audio Cables.
The Ohio-based audio manufacturer says the addition of its latest accessory component provides a wide range of homeowners access to high performing audio products that are affordable. SVS explains the new Soundpath Balanced XLR Cables are engineered to ensure signal integrity, as well as secure connections, and the rejection of noise through the products’ five-layer shielding system.
According to the company, the Soundpath Balanced XLR Cables incorporate cold-fused, 24K gold plating on all of their electrical contacts, and zinc-alloy terminals with black nickel plating to help ensure the highest levels of connectivity.
The cables also feature three balanced, multi-strand %99.99 oxygen-free copper conductors that are individually isolated for connection integrity. SVS says this also makes up the first layer of shielding. The second and third layers of shielding consist of an aluminum-wrap shield and 56-strand spiral braid of high-purity copper. A PVC jacket wrapped in densely braided cotton sheathing forms the final layers of shielding and helps to make the cables flexible to help with the installation process.
SVS adds to further ensure safe and secure connections, the Soundpath Balanced XLR Cables also include lockable, push-button terminal clips. Additionally, aiding professional integrators in the install process, each cable is marked with red or white bands for easy left/right stereo channel identification.
