Leviton has expanded its selection of in-fixture control products with the release of its Smart Fixture Mount Sensors.
The Melville, N.Y.-based manufacturer says that its latest products are designed to directly install into high-bay and low-bay luminaires to offer homeowners an integrated occupancy sensing, dimming, daylight harvesting and scheduling to meet today’s stringent energy code requirements. Leviton explains the IP66-rated sensors are available in a choice of internal, external or end-mount versions, and the products are designed to work with switching or 0-10 volt dimming drivers.
The newly announced Smart Fixture Mount Sensors’ internal and external mount versions are offered in 120-277 volt and universal 120-347 volt models for single-pole applications and 208-480 volt for two-pole applications.
Leviton emphasizes the sensors provide homeowners options such as multiple daylight modes, as well as partial-off operation, which is said to complement installations in which energy-code compliance is required.
In addition, the Smart Fixture Mount Sensors can be controlled by homeowners using the company’s Leviton Smart Sensor App, which provides features such as adjusting sensor sensitivity, timeouts, operating modes, daylighting modes, partial-ON, partial-OFF, and sensor scheduling.
