The latest signal transmission solution from Key Digital is the KD-X2220PO HDBaseT Extender Kit.
According to the N.Y.-based company, the KD-X222PO kit includes a transmitter and the receiver, and it extends video and audio signals up to 125 feet with resolutions such as 4K 24/25/30(4:4:4)/60(4:2:0) using Cat5e/6UTP/STP cabling. The kit also extends 1080p video up to 230 feet at using third-party Cat5e/6 cabling.
Moreover, the KD-X222PO supports 4K resolutions and HDR with a maximum signal bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps.
Key Digital also points out the kit works as a diagnostics solution through the inclusion of the company’s proprietary buffer technologies.
The KD-X2220PO HDBaseT Extender Kit also features IR sensor powering through its 5-volt power capability that resides on the receiver unit’s IR port.
In addition, the units’ control ports can also be used for the extension of bi-directional RS-232 signals. The kit also supports audio formats that include Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio.
