Home Cinema 2250, 2200, 1080 and 880 Projectors

With people spending more time at home and missing the fun of their local big-screen cinemaplex facilities, Epson has announced its Home Cinema 2250, 2200, 1080 and 880 projectors.

Epson says the 2250 and the 2200 models incorporate the Android TV platform to enable users to stream services that include Hulu, HBO and YouTube.

The Home Cinema 2250 and 2200 models also incorporate Google Assistant for voice search capabilities, and the projectors also offer gamma 21:9 wide-screen images to allow gamers to see dark areas to benefit from wider viewing angles during game play.

All of the Home Cinema models employ Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD technology, which the company says enables the projectors to produce dynamic contrast ratios.

Epson points out the projectors also feature built-in speakers, easy-to-use picture adjustments and a choice of four selectable color modes.

The Home Cinema 2250 and 2200 models are rated to produce up to 2,700 lumens of brightness. The Home Cinema 1080 model is rated to produce up to 3,400 lumens of brightness, and the Home Cinema 880 is rated to produce up to 3,000 lumens of brightness.

MSRPs are as follow:

  • Home Cinema 2250 is $999.99
  • Home Cinema 2200 is $899.99
  • Home Cinema 1080 is $749.99
  • Home Cinema 880 is $599.99
