Responding to the rapidly evolving unified communications (UC) industry or more simply, the conferencing market, Draper has introduced 21:9 projection screen aspect ratios to support the Microsoft Teams Front Row option.

The Ind.-based manufacturer notes that using the Microsoft Teams Front Row option with its new 21:9 projection screens provides users with a more natural viewing experience when they are participating in conference calls.

Draper admits that users could use a more traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, but it states that its newly announced widescreen aspect ratios provides a more Front Row-friendly user experience.

Draper points out that in order to meet the growing demand for these new screen products for applications that include commercial and resimerical to address work from home (WFH) and hybrid workplace applications it has launched several new standard screen sizes with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Some of those products include products for the Acumen V, Acumen V XL, Access V, Access XL V, Ultimate Access V, Ultimate Access XL V, Premier, and Premier XL electric screen products. Draper also notes its 21:9 projection screen option has also been added to the Profile Plus framed screen product line.

In addition, the screens support 4K-UHD through their vertical resolution of 2160, which Draper says is higher than the 1080p or WUXGA vertical resolutions.

Moreover, the company boasts that it offers screen products in a choice of standard sizes, and it can manufacture any size and format of electric or fixed frame screen.
