Expanding its Home series of products, Denon has just announced its Home Sound Bar 550.
Denon states that its latest wireless audio product provides a choice of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats, and the soundbar can be used for the playback of AV and music.
The Home Sound Bar 550 also incorporates Denon’s proprietary HEO wireless whole-house audio platform to support its use within a whole-house system.
The popular audio manufacturer explains that integrators can set the soundbar up as a standalone solution or it can be combined with other products in the Home line, including its 150, 250 and 350 products. Moreover, the Home Sound Bar 550 can be combined with Denon’s DSW-1H wireless subwoofer to provide homeowners with a broader dynamic audio experience.
Denon points out that homeowners can control the soundbar with its included remote control, as well as its HEOS, and its on-board control panel.
Some of the other features built into the Home Sound Bar 550 include Roku TV ready certification to work with Roku products, Apple AirPlay 2, and drivers to support its integration into Control4, Crestron, URC, Elan and other control systems.
Additionally, the soundbar offers access to streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and it provides Bluetooth connectivity for more connection options.
