Helping integrators to meet a range of AV signal distribution requirements, the new Binary 960 Series of MoIP solutions were announced at InfoComm 2023.
Snap One says that its latest AV-over-IP product line provides the ability to distribute 4K at 60Hz content for commercial applications such as video tiling with as many as 16 sources, and it can be setup by integrators through the global company’s OvrC platform. The company states that its new 960 Series MoIP products also provide 10G networks with reduced compression to help the systems maintain high levels of AV quality.
According to the company, the 960 Series includes three models: The new B-960-MOIP-4K-TX-A transmitter that supports audio downmixing, as well as the B-960-MOIP-4K-TR transceiver that provides simultaneous send and receive capabilities, and the B-960-MOIP-4K-RX receiver, which Snap One says will be available later in 2023 with video tile options.
Besides the product line’s ability to distribute 4K at 60Hz content with HDR support, the new AV-over-IP series is said to offer integrators and their clients the ability to create decentralized AV systems with features such as multiview and video wall support (up to 4×4) without having to add hardware.
