CinemaX P2 4K Short-Throw Projector

The newly announced CinemaX P2 4K, short-throw projector from Optoma USA is a room-friendly projection solution that is capable of producing 3,000 lumens of brightness.

Optoma says the the performance of the CinemaX P2 builds upon its CinemaX P1 projector by delivering 25% more contrast than the previous-generation model, and by offering options such as its Enhanced Gaming Mode and digital art exhibit features.

Internally the CinemaX P2 incorporates a six-segment RGBRGB color wheel, as well as a glass lens, and a built-in 40-watt Dolby Digital 2.0 soundbar.

According to the global electronics company, it’s latest short-throw projector is capable of projecting an image as big as 120 inches, and it can be used for home entertainment and WFH activities through the use of its Tap Cast app and screen mirroring.

The projector is also engineered to deliver the Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 color standards, and it provides HDR10 compatibility.

Elaborating on the CinemaX P2’s art mode, Optoma USA adds the projector can display curated art from digital artists through the use of the FRAMED digital art platform.
