KEF is a global home audio company that is known for its audiophile speakers such as the MUON loudspeakers, Blade loudspeakers, and its Reference product line, but in addition to its popular in-room products, the company offers outdoor solutions such as the KEF Ventura outdoor loudspeakers.
KEF states that professional integrators can utilize the outdoor speaker line of products in locations such as poolside or as part of a Yacht installation to deliver high-quality audio experiences to environments outside of the home.
The IP65-rated KEF Ventura outdoor loudspeakers are available in two versions: Ventura 5 and Ventura 6. The company points out the all-weather loudspeakers are engineered to withstand a range of environmental elements, including wind, rain, snow, dirt, dust and extreme temperatures spanning from warm to cold.
The KEF Ventura 5 loudspeaker features a sealed-box design that contains a 5.25-inch woofer and a fluid-cooled 1-inch tweeter. Together these drivers help the speaker to produce a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz +/-6dB. The larger Ventura 6 outdoor loudspeaker also utilizes a sealed box design, and this speaker houses a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch fluid-cooled tweeter. The 90dB efficient, 6-ohm speaker offers a rated frequency response of 54Hz to 20kHz +/-6dB.
