NuTech Group, a residential and light commercial rep firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, has been acquired by longtime employee and VP of sales, Tim Painter.
NuTech Group will continue to do business in the Mid-Atlantic territory, serving the integration community as it has for more than 41 years with the same commitment to superior service and support.
“This is a big moment in our company’s history. For many years, our team has discussed our succession plan, one that would allow NuTech to evolve and its partners to thrive. Tim Painter has now purchased the company and has aggressive plans to continue its mission,” states Brett Neiderman, now former owner of the NuTech Group.
“I’d like to thank all who have participated, contributed, and shared in our growth over the years. Without you, our story would have been different. I have genuinely enjoyed my 40 years in the industry and want to sincerely thank everyone I have met and worked with along the way. Now, it will be nice to slow down a little bit and enjoy the extra time that I have and hopefully be able to help people in the industry moving forward.”
For those that do business with NuTech Group now, very little will change. Existing dealers and integrators will receive regular updates and are welcome to proactively reach out to their account rep with questions. “Our team’s objective is to make this as seamless a transition as possible. With very few exceptions, it’s business as usual,” says Vijita U. G., director of customer experience for NuTech Group.
Painter notes he is ready to lead the NuTech team into a new era of ownership.
“I am proud to take the helm of such a well-respected and tenured firm and am thankful for the opportunity to keep NuTech growing, evolving, and offering our partners the solid support and service they need to grow, as well,” says Tim Painter, now the owner of NuTech Group.
“It has been amazing to work and grow with the NuTech team and form relationships with our dealers and vendors, so many of whom are now far more than just business partners, they’re friends.
“As we look to the future, I am excited at the potential of this company, team, and our market. This is just the beginning of our next phase of evolution,” adds Painter.
Another exciting change is our commitment to the rapidly expanding Health & Wellness category. As part of the transition, Chad Neiderman has launched a sister company with a focus on Smart Healthy Living spaces. Neiderman points out, “Since I started in this industry, I have always had a passion for emerging technologies. I look forward to working with our integrators and vendors to achieve mutual success creating healthy smart home environments.”
To start, WellTech Design will support the PureTech Alliance partners in the Middle Atlantic including eero, RePure, and Broan-NuTone.
