Registration is now open for this year’s CEDIA Awards & Leadership Conference, which successfully debuted last year in Chicago. The gathering will take place July 21-22 at the historic Union League Club of Chicago. The event will provide CEDIA members with opportunities to network and improve their leadership skills, while also celebrating the very best home technology integration projects.
The Leadership Conference will kick off the morning of July 22 with an engaging slate of presenters taking on key topics designed to drive business. The grand CEDIA Awards celebration will follow later that evening, showcasing the greatest projects from the Americas region, honoring those who make the innovations and contributions of technology happen in the home. The evening will also include a pre-event cocktail hour.
Speakers for the event include Linzi Boyd who is described as a serial entrepreneur and a founder of Business of Brand and BoB School.
Boyd will host three sessions on July 22:
- Building Brands to Shift Industries: Today, Tomorrow and the Future
- Find your Formula for Growth
- Turn your Profile into an Asset-Push vs. Pull
David Brown, senior vice president, Metrostudy will also moderate a session that focuses on the residential construction market. Brown’s Economic Outlook for the Industry presentation taps into Metrostudy resources to provide attendees with important market information.
The CEDIA Awards shines a worldwide spotlight on the industry’s finest projects. The event in Chicago will honor the best work from CEDIA members in the Americas region. The deadline for entries in the Americas region, which you can connect to here, is March 23.
