Submissions are officially open for CEDIA’s 2025 Smart Home Awards, with the program receiving a few new category additions compared to last year. Additionally, some of the prior categories have been rebranded to better represent the types of projects those specific categories are meant to represent.
What’s Being Said
CEDIA Global President and CEO, Daryl Friedman, states that the awards have only continued to see more recognition from other sections of the industry such as designers, builders and homeowners.
“The CEDIA Smart Home Awards are the highest honor in our industry, and I’m excited to see the entries this year. And now with new categories, the awards are representative of the industry and more appealing to a wider cross section of our membership,” Friedman adds.

The full list of categories for the 2025 CEDIA Smart Home Awards remain split between Integrator, Business, Individual, and Manufacturer categories with the individual sub-categories being as follows:

Submitting to the CEDIA Smart Home Awards
Submissions are open for CEDIA members only and will run until April 11, 2025 for the Home Technology Integrator categories. The Business, Individual, and Manufacturer categories will be open for slightly longer, closing instead June 6, 2025. The Early Bird deadline for Manufacturer categories is May 6, 2025.
