Reinforcing its market position as a premiere television manufacturer, the new Sony MASTER Series of televisions, as well as the rest of its 2019 products will start shipping in a May/June timeframe.
Sony first announced its latest televisions at CES 2019 earlier this year. The 2019 products feature LCD- and OLED-based models in a range of sizes.
Here is a quick look at Sony's 2019 product line, including the Master Series:
Sony MASTER Series A9G 4K OLED TV
Engineered to serve as the company's flagship MASTER Series 4K OLED, the A9G is available in a choice of 77-, 65- and 55-inch sizes.
Home friendly, the slim-profile A9G has been developed to deliver high levels of picture quality, color, contrast and detail that “approaches professional-grade monitor” levels.
Sony says the A9G produces wide viewing angles, vivid contrast levels and deep black levels through its more than eight-million self-illuminating pixels and Sony's Picture Processor X1 Ultimate technologies.
The Master Series A9G also offers users a Netflix Calibrated Mode and IMAX Enhanced with DTS audio options.
In addition, the A9G televisions will also offer Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support later this year.

Sony MASTER Series Z9G 8K HDR TV
According to Sony, the Z9G 8K HDR line of products was developed to meet the public's appetite for larger screen sizes and higher resolutions.
Incorporating Sony's proprietary X1 Ultimate Processor, the processor in the Z9G has been designed to handle an 8K resolution or 33 million pixels. The Picture Processor X1 built into the line utilizes algorithms specifically developed for an 8K resolution to produce optimized images.
Sony explains its Backlight Master Drive with full-array local dimming and 8K X-tended Dynamic Range PRO combine with its processing technologies and 8K resolutions to provide homeowners with a dynamic large picture that is detailed and accurate.

Sony A8G 4K OLED TV Line of Televisions
The A8G line of 4K OLED televisions incorporate Sony's Extreme: Object-based HDR remaster, 4K HDR Super Bit Mapping and dual database processing that are bundled into the products' 4K HDR Processor.
The televisions are compatible with the Dolby Vision HDR standard and IMAX Enhanced technologies to help integrators create state-of-the-art multimedia and home theater systems.

Sony X950G 4K HDR Televisions
The X950G features the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate to support the televisions' 4K resolutions.
The product is augmented with some of the company's other processing technologies such as X-tended Dynamic Range Pro, X-Wide Angle and X-Motion Clarity to help the TVs to produce wide contrast levels and smooth, clear images.

Sony notes through the products' compliance with IMAX Enhanced, the TVs support Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos object-based surround sound.
Later, the products will support Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit.
Additionally, the products incorporate Sony's Netflix Calibrated Mode that optimizes streaming Netflix content.

Sony X850G 4K HDR TVs
The X850G 4K HDR 85-inch television combines Sony's 4K HDR Processor X1 with its Acoustic Multi-Audio that works via the company's Sound Positioning Tweeters.
The 4K TV also incorporates the company's TRILUMINOS display technologies that Sony says, “brings scenes vividly to life with enhanced color accuracy.”
Moreover, the 4K TV employs the Android TV platform with built-in Google Assistant technologies, which means homeowners can utilize the Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice control platforms.
MSRP for the 85-inch X850G 4K television is $3,499.99.
Sony X800G 4K HDR Line of Products
Completing Sony's 2019 line of televisions is the 4K X800G series of televisions.
This line incorporates Sony's 4K X-Reality Pro upscaling technology, as well as its TRILUMINOS display technologies.
