SnapAV, a national source of A/V, surveillance, control, networking and remote management products, is partnering with Yamaha to distribute more than 100 Yamaha 70-volt commercial audio products to SnapAV integrators nationwide.
According to Scott Normand, senior director at SnapAV, providing ready access to Yamaha’s lauded lineup of commercial-grade speakers, amplifiers, mixers, DSPs, network switches and keypad control systems creates new opportunities for dealer growth.
“Even among integrators that consider themselves CEDIA-focused, industry research shows that 42% of revenues are derived from commercial installations,” explains Normand.

Yamaha speakers and amplifiers are known for their quality, build characteristics, performance and capabilities, including advanced remote control functions and integrated Dante support for uncompressed digital audio distribution. The company’s amplifiers include features such as alarm system interrupts that override audio in case of emergencies, while Dante greatly simplifies the addition of microphones, network equipment and Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).
Randy Riebe, sales manager – key accounts, Yamaha Corporation of America, notes the new partnership expands opportunities for SnapAV dealers and ensures they have access to the tools they need to complete any job.
