If you thought the mergers and acquisitions were restricted to the integration side of the pro AV industry, Herman ProAV and Resideo Technologies, Inc., have different ideas.
Resideo Technologies has acquired pro AV distributor Herman ProAV inย a move that expands the companyโs global pro AV footprint in the ADI Global Distribution division of the business.
Herman ProAV will be part of Resideoโs ADI Global Distribution team, whichย distributes security, AV and low-voltage products.
โADI is a cornerstone of Resideoโs growth and continues to expand its presence as the global leader in low voltage security and audio-visual distribution,โ said Mike Nefkens, president and CEO of Resideo, in the joint announcement.

The Herman ProAV acquisition โbuilds upon ADIโs product portfolio and expands its presence in the pro AV market,โ the joint announcement says.
โIn addition to top-tier professional AV products, the acquisition includes Herman Integration Services, which provides AV systems integrators with trained and industry-certified technicians, project managers,ย programmers and engineers,โ according to the announcement.
