James Loudspeaker has recently announced it has chosen Jay Wessell to serve as the company's president, also appointing Vijita U.G. as director of marketing. The company says it is also moving to a new headquarters in Minden, Nev. to help boost manufacturing capabilities.
Wessell, who had worked alongside CEO Mark Schafle at Infinity and other ventures, brings an extensive background in the audio industry to his new role.
Wessell will oversee the finance, HR and other aspects of management enabling Schafle to oversee manufacturing and marketing.
“We already have a track record of working very well together, with complementary skill sets,” says Wessell. “I am excited to join such a successful venture and bring the finest lifestyle loudspeakers to residential and commercial integrators worldwide.”
Engineers Mike Park and Ted Telesky will continue to lead R&D.
James Loudspeaker's newest director of marketing, Vijita U.G brings relevant sales and marketing experience to the company based on over 13 years with Stewart Filmscreen. Vijita is responsible for all marketing activities including branding, advertising, marketing communications, and promotional activity.

According to the company, this newly created position is part of a larger initiative to add resources due to recent growth.
New Facility Nearly Doubles Manufacturing Space
In addition to the new hires, James Loudspeaker has relocated its engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, and corporate offices to Minden, Nev.
James Loudspeaker says the new facility effectively doubles its manufacturing capabilities and features new assembly lines, including advanced tooling and finishing stations with powder coating, painting, Spectra-chrome and hydro-dipping capabilities.

The new facility provides a significant increase in space to house enhanced production capabilities, warehouse facilities, and additional engineers to accommodate the double-digit growth of the James Loudspeaker brand.
New team members have been added to the engineering corps to address the increased demand for products in every category.
