This past fall at CEDIA 2016, the Mol, Belgium-based audio company Storm Audio introduced its product line to American electronics professionals. And now, at ISE 2017, the European manufacturer is set to introduce its product line to a global audience.
Exhibiting in stand 1-N122, StormAudio will showcase its new I.ISP 3D. 16. 12 16-channel integrated amplifier/AV processor. The integrated amplifier/AV processor is compatible with the object-based surround sound formats Auro 3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, as well as 4K Ultra HD video, and it also offers 12-channels of amplification rated to deliver 200 watts per channel.
“StormAudio's mission is to provide unprecedented sound and service for both the dealer and end user,” says Yves Trelohan, vice president, Storm Audio. “Our new I.ISP 3D. 16. 12 is no exception. It is the perfect solution for today's home cinemas where use of separate preamp/processors and amps are not ideal due to either budget or space limitations. From its advanced feature sets and performance, to luxurious fit-and-finsh, the I.ISP 3D. 16. 12 is a new breed of integrated immersive sound A/V processor that is already setting the standard for what the heart of the immersive home cinema should be.”
Storm Audio says the integrated amplifier/AV processor incorporates many of the technologies found in its flagship ISP 3D.32 ELITE Reference Edition processor, which was announced at CES 2017, including the company's proprietary immersive audio processing (ISP), StormOptimizer room equalization package, and StormRemote web-based monitoring options.
The I.ISP 3D.16. 12 is expandable up to 16 channels via additional amplifiers and subwoofers, and it can be used to drive speaker systems ranging from 5.1 to 13.1. The integrated amplifier/AV processor also incorporates eight HDMI inputs and two outputs with Ultra HD 4K and HDCP 2.2.
In addition, it also features four balanced XLR outputs to facilitate amplifier connections, and for private listening sessions, the I.ISP 3D.16. 12 also incorporates the binaural technology SpherAudio to deliver an immersive private listening experience.
StormAudio says its new integrated amplifier/AV processor will be available in February 2017 for an MSRP of $15,990.
