Flexson, a U.K. manufacturer specializing in accessories for Sonos, has announced its Illuminated Charging Stand for Sonos PLAY:1.
The charging stand allows integrators to conserve space in clients' homes by combining soft lighting with the Sonos PLAY:1 powered speaker. Use the charging stand in bedrooms, home offices or kitchens to save valuable space.
The Illuminated Charging Stand for Sonos PLAY:1 incorporates a pair of USB power outlets that homeowners can use to charge their smart devices, wearables, e-readers and other electronics.
The integrated light is controllable through the product's integrated touch-sensitive controls, which Flexson says makes it a nice addition to a bedside nightstand and similar locations.
The charging stand will be available through Flexson's American distributor American Audio Video in a choice of black or white to match the color of Sonos products. It will be available at the end of march at a retail cost of $60.
