Entertainment, security and control solutions provider Elan announced the formal opening of its first Elan Training Center in Dallas, Texas. According to Joe Lautner, vice president, strategic solutions, the center informally opened in January of this year and has, to date, trained more than 200 dealers from all across the country. The company plans to open additional training centers in 2018.
“Our new training and demonstration center in Dallas has proven to be tremendously effective in helping dealers to design, deliver and maintain exceptional Elan control systems in the most cost-effective way possible for their end-user customers,” Lautner said today. “Each attendee learns to design and configure a system, working on their own complete rack with all the ELAN Flagship products plus the best third party gear in all categories. We have trained existing and new Elan Dealers and 100 percent of them recommend this training to any Elan dealer.”
According to Lautner, by the time dealers complete the immersive two-and-a-half day training program, they completely understand the full capabilities of the company's control platform. As a result, they are empowered to design, install and maintain control solutions that exceed all of their customers’ performance expectations while lowering the total cost of installation. “Trainees also leave with Elan gear to bring home,” Lautner added.
Space is still available for the November and December 2017 training sessions. Elan, a division of Core Brands, develops whole-house entertainment and control solutions distributed through a channel of select dealers throughout the United States, Canada, and countries worldwide. The new Elan 8 update was honored with the “2017 Human Interface Product of the Year” award from the Consumer Technology Association’s Mark of Excellence Awards Program Committee at CES 2017.
