Premium home appliance manufacturer, Dreo, has announced the release of its first smart air purifier. Designed to be integrated directly into smart home systems, the Dreo Macro Max S is powered by Dreo’s TurboPure technology, which channels massive flow to quickly circulate air through a professional grade 3-stage pre+H13 True HEPA+ Carbon Filter, greatly improving indoor air quality.

The integrated app displays air quality in real time while allowing for adjustment of purification levels based on homeowner preference. Once set, the onboard monitoring system adjusts accordingly, reacting to any fluctuations in the environment’s air quality, as noted by Dreo. The smart purifier also comes with direct integrations to Google Home and Alexa for simple set-up and added voice control.

“Dreo Macro Max S is a brand new and upgraded air purifier based on direct user feedback and consumer research by our R&D team, dedicated to bringing the latest technology and best experience to consumers.” said Herman, Vice President of Dreo. “We will continue to deliver innovative solutions to meet the advent of the AIoT era for a better smart life at home,” he added.

A Look Inside Dreo’s Air Cleaning Capabilities

Despite having a powerful air circulation capability, Dreo notes that the device itself is actually quite quiet when running in a space. Using a brushless DC motor, the device can clean up to 273 cubic feet of air each minute, according to the company, which translates to being able to process an entire 2200-square-foot home in just over an hour. The smart air purifier also comes with an ‘Auto Mode’ that will automatically adjust to the most efficient speed to extend life and save energy during usage while still greatly improving indoor air quality.

The onboard, high-efficiency 3-stage pre+H13 True HEPA+ Carbon Filter reportedly captures 99.985% of particles as small as 0.3 micron, while also removing up to 99.99% of bacteria from the air. Dreo also highlights that the device can scrub H1N1 and Staph viruses from the air.

For professionals interested in picking up the Dreo Macro Max S smart purifier for their next project, the device is now available on Amazon and the Dreo website retailing for $219.99.
