Crestron Opens Training Center in Atlanta

The company's new Crestron Training Institute in Duluth, Ga. will open on March 23, 2020, and will feature a full curriculum of courses for integrators.

To help meet the demand for specialized training and advanced certifications for AV industry professionals, Crestron recently announced the opening of a Crestron Training Institute (CTI) facility in Duluth, Ga.

Courses will commence at the new Crestron Training Institute just outside Atlanta on March 23.

The Crestron Training Institute at Crestron South offers โ€œa full curriculum of instructor-led classroom courses designed to ensure success in the design, installation, configuration, and programming of Crestron systems,โ€ according to the company announcement.

Courses are available for Crestron dealers, A+ partners, GSS partners, enterprise partners and Crestron service providers (CSPs).

โ€œOngoing education is essential to the continued growth and success of our customers, and we are fully committed to providing it,โ€ says Richard Sasson, global director technical services, in the Crestron announcement.

โ€œThe addition of the Crestron South location will make it more convenient for our dealers and partners in the region to get the training they want,โ€ he said.

The 2020 Crestron Masters program will come to Caribe Royale in Orlando, Fla., March 31 to April 2 and the Marriott Auditorium in Madrid, Spain, May 12-14.

This yearโ€™s Crestron Masters schedule includes three different tracks: one for Crestron-certified programmers, one for Crestron Master Technology Architects and a new one-day sales track that will helps sales staffers โ€œget on the same pageโ€ as their design and programming teams.

Among the instructors at Crestron Masters 2020 are Ed Mana,ย chief technologistย at Technology On Demand. Manaโ€™s three-person company in Yorktown Heights, N.Y., offers IT, AV integration, Crestron control system programming, managed services and lighting and shading.

Mana is a Crestron Diamond level programmer.
