Audiovector to Exhibit at 2024 Toronto Audiofest

The annual audiophile show runs on Oct. 18-20.

Audiovector’s new Trapeze Reimagined loudspeaker will be showcased at this weekend’s Toronto Audiofest. The original Trapez was launched in 1979 and became the blueprint for all Audiovector speakers to follow. Fast forward 45 years, and the Trapeze Reimagined is based on the same principles as the original heritage model, updated with the very best technologies available.

The Trapeze Reimagined is designed to transport listeners to the heart of a live event. Thanks to its unique design, the front of the speaker is angled toward the listener, while the rear remains parallel to the wall, adding timeless elegance to any room. The cabinet is hand-veneered for a sleek fit and finish, and generously braced to reduce distortion and coloration.

“I am delighted that our new Trapeze Reimagined will be performing at this year’s Toronto Audiofest,” says Mads Klifoth, CEO, Audiovector. “The show is one of the highlights of the audiophile calendar, and I am sure visitors will appreciate the speaker’s unique styling and how it can fill a room with a rich, warm, and powerful sound.”

Visitors to the Toronto Audiofest show will also be able to enjoy Audiovector’s QR 5 SE floor-standing speaker, which features the latest audio technology in a perfectly finished cabinet. Its Gold Leaf Air Motion Tweeter configuration is an object of beauty. The fascia plate is machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, glass-blasted, brushed, and anodized in an attractive Tungsten Titanium Grey. It also features a rose gold-plated dispersion mesh, which functions as an S-Stop filter.

Audiovector’s flagship R 8 Arreté loudspeaker will also be on demonstration during the show. It features the Audiovector Carbon Driver, engineered to further improve the already class-leading drivers. Lighter, stiffer, and ‘acoustically dead’ membranes produce a fast and uncolored sound. This speaker is a true high-end performer, set to impress visitors with its sophisticated musical reproduction.

The Toronto Audiofest takes place on Oct. 18-20 at the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport and the Westin Toronto Airport.

Audiovector loudspeakers will be in these rooms during the show:

  • Nordost: Room 437: Trapeze Reimagined and QR 5 SE
  • Kennedy Hi-Fi: Room 445: Trapeze Reimagined
  • EQ Audio Video: Room Sutton B: R 8 Arreté

Show opening hours: Friday 11:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sat 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
