Bond , a provider of control solutions to automate motorized window treatments, gas fireplaces, and ceiling fans, and this past year the brand expanded into the outdoors through new solutions and partnerships.
At IWCE in booth #325 in West Palm Beach, Fla., on April 14-15, Bond will unveil Mate, a water-resistant, 15-channel hand-held remote that brings smart individual, multi-group, and schedule control to motorized pergolas, awnings, shutters, and screens without requiring the use of a bridge.
The company asserts that dealers can use Mate to enable homeowners to turn the appliances on-and-off, set positions (including favorites); dealers can configure individual and multi-group control, and assign personalized names to the channels. Once setup, Mate becomes smart, aware of time and able to set adaptive schedules. With an MSRP of $289, Mate is set to ship June 2025.
