Lutron is launching additions to the Caséta portfolio of products designed for the professional installation market, including a Diva smart dimmer with ELV+ technology and Pico paddle remotes in five new colors.
According to Lutron, these new products aim to help installers complete jobs with multiple load types more easily and offer their clients a wider range of choices within the paddle-style aesthetic.
The new Diva smart dimmer ELV+ offers smart control for low-voltage applications such as under-cabinet, track, accent and tape lighting, the Coopersburg, Pa.-based lighting manufacturer says.
In addition to ELV applications, the dimmer works with nearly all residential lighting types and loads, including LED, MLV, incandescent, halogen and more.
Designed for Professional Installers
According to Lutron, the new Diva smart dimmer with ELV+ technology features phase-selectable dimming to for dimming performance across a wide range of load types. Installers may choose between forward—or reverse-phase dimming according to load type in the Lutron app or on the physical control.
Lutron says its newest dimmer complements the paddle-style aesthetic of new additions to the Caséta line, including the Diva smart dimmer, Claro smart switch, and Pico paddle remote. The new Diva smart dimmer ELV+ is available in six color options: white, ivory, light almond, black, brown, and gray.
In a statement, Adam Mack, senior product manager at Lutron, said the company heard from integrators that a smart, paddle-style dimmer with ELV+ technology was a must have for the Caséta line.
“The new Diva smart dimmer ELV+ complements our recent launches including the Diva smart dimmer and the Pico paddle remote, helping to round out the family of products,” Mack says.
The new dimmer can be paired with a Pico paddle remote, allowing integrators to add 3-way control to any residential light without cutting holes or pulling wire.
New Pico Paddle Remote Colors
In addition to the new Diva smart dimmer, Lutron is releasing five new color options for the Pico paddle remote: black, light almond, ivory, gray and brown. This is in addition to the original white color.
These Pico emotes offer control of Caséta switches and dimmers, Serena smart shades, fans and more. They don’t require a hub, app, or Wi-Fi to function. They can be used as handheld remotes or mounted to any flat surface.
For integrators, Pico remotes can be installed almost anywhere as a second switch, with no need to pull wires.
