Roger Takacs Returns to Atlona

ย Atlona, a Panduit company,ย has announced the return of Roger Takacs as strategic account manager, a newly developed position that crosses several key business areas. Reporting toย Jamey Swigert, director of AV sales and business development, Takacs willย focusย on sales, management andย customer engagementย initiatives designed to bring Atlona closer to its partners andย end users.

โ€œPanduitโ€™s acquisition of Atlona has introduced the company to an entirely new base of customers, including consultants and end users that are less familiar with the AV side of the business,โ€ says Takacs.

โ€œAt the same time,ย AV integrators are increasinglyย findingย jobs that take them deeper into the network infrastructure. It is exciting to work with a broader customer base and communicate how one company can help them expand their businesses and leverage our combined technical resources.”

Takacโ€™s previous employmentย withย Atlona began in 2013ย as national sales manager, where heย helpedย successfullyย launchย Atlonaโ€™s commercial AV business.ย This initiative includedย Atlonaโ€™s HDVS family, a broadย product rangeย introduced to smooth the transition from analog to digital in schools and businesses. His vision was so successful that the HDVS lineย remains alive today, with evolution into new areas such asย PTZย cameras and soft codec conferencing. While in this position, Roger also built a dedicated team of regional sales managers to better serve customers in every U.S. region, and worked closely with major distributors and manufacturer representatives throughout North America.
