The smart home industry trade association CEDIA will present a live webinar with two policy experts to discuss the current situation regarding trade and tariffs and its impact on the CEDIA community.
CEDIA points out the educational webinar takes place on Monday, February 24 from 10-11 a.m. EST, and the trade organization has selected Laura Siegel Rabinowitz and Rob Mangas to speak during the online session.
According to CEDIA, Rabinowitz counsels domestic and multinational businesses on complex challenges associated with trade, advising on mitigation of duty exposure and compliance. CEDIA emphasizes that Rabinowitz has deep experience handling international trade issues for multinational importers, exporters, and manufacturers in numerous industries including consumer products and industrial equipment. CEDIA goes on to point out that Mangas has represented clients before Congress and federal agencies from a variety of industries and in multiple policy areas, including trade, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing.
Both Rabinowitz and Mangas are with the international law firm, Greenberg Traurig. The session will be moderated by CEDIA’s global president and CEO Daryl Friedman, and industry professionals from the residential and commercial technology industry can participate in the webinar live via Zoom through registration here.
The international trade group adds the webinar on tariffs and global trade is free and open to CEDIA members and non-members who register in advance. There will be a live Q&A at the end of the webinar for CEDIA members to ask questions.
