Capitol, a national distribution source for residential systems and light commercial integrators, has announced several promotions that revolve around the 2019 holiday selling season.
The distributor will emphasize new networking components during this period.
“Networking products are always among our most popular products because the growing market for connected products demands that consumers upgrade their home networks on an annual basis,” says Curt Hayes, president and CFO, Capitol.
“All of our biggest sellers, including smart home and wireless entertainment products, need a powerful network for trouble-free performance.”
It will also promote the smart home category, including products such as the Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Light Kit that includes the LBDG2WH Smart Bridge, PD6WCLWH White Dimmer (150W dimmable LED/600W incandescent and halogen), White Pico 3 Button Remote, and White Claro Wallplate. Capitol says the Smart Bridge enables control of lights, shades and temperature using the Lutron app.
Similarly, home security options will be expanded this year with Speco Technologies’ wireless 1TB four-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) with four bullet cameras included in the box serving as a popular solution for integrators.
In addition, Capitol says home entertainment products that include the Onkyo TXRZ740 9.2-channel 4K network audio/video receiver (AVR) will be highlighted.
Capitol explains the receiver features object-oriented formats including Dolby Atmos to provide the latest object-based surround sound to users.
Moreover, the distributor will also promote smart TVs from category leaders such as Sony and TCL.
