Salamander Designs has announced Scott Srolis, previously senior vice president of sales and marketing for the AV furniture manufacturer, has been promoted to president. This change is effective immediately.

“Scott is clearly the right person to lead our company forward,” Salvatore Carraba, founder of Salamander Designs, said regarding Srolis’s appointment to president of Salamander. “He has the drive to help us grow, outstanding business instincts and we share the same values. I have complete faith and trust in him both as a person and a leader. His promotion is the natural evolution of Salamander, and I’m excited I’ll now be able to devote more time to strategic efforts.”

Srolis a Pivotal Figure in Salamander Designs’ History

Srolis is a long-time, recognized leader in the CI industry and has been responsible for Salamander Designs‘ entry into the commercial arena and international markets. Prior to being named president he had been involved in the decision making that guides Salamander Designs’ product direction, promotional campaigns and overall strategy for eight years.

Founder Salvatore Carrabba Transitions to CEO Role

In making the announcement, Carrabba, who founded the multiple award-winning firm more than 30 years ago, declared he will be taking the role of CEO. Carrabba will remain actively involved in the business as Srolis takes the daily reins, according to the announcement.
