VIZIO is launching an update across all current models of its smart TVs that brings a faster power on, better responsiveness, improved voice and text search, and a more personalized experience.
The update to the VIZIO Home software update includes the latest Quantum Pro 4K QLED Smart TV models and features an overall faster experience, including a faster power-on experience and faster switching between apps.
VIZIO’s update also includes a new left-side navigation and hierarchy sorting feature for quicker browsing and more responsive controls, as well as faster recommendations and search results in both voice and text formats.
The company first announced the Quantum Pro Smart TV series this fall, which features improved color and a premium picture with a wide viewing angle and anti-reflective film. The TVs also feature up to 1,000 n its peak brightness and the ability to express over 1 billion colors using Quantum Dot technology, combined with active full array local dimming for brighter colors and deeper darks.
The Quantum Pro also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification and up to 120fps in 4K or 240fps in 1090p, which VIZIO says provides superior connectivity for gamers. The TVs also include Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
In addition, the TVs feature Airplay 2.0 and Chromecast, plus compatibility with Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa. The TVs come in sixes of 65- and 75-inch models.
