A seamless user experience was a top priority for this Alabama multimedia space, with the full scope featuring a game area, cocktail bar, and a dedicated home theater. Innovative Sight & Sound faced several challenges throughout the complete basement conversion, from managing the existing layout to adapting to varying ceiling heights.

Classic Arcade Cabinets and Big Screen TV Comprise ‘Heart’ of Entertainment

The heart of the basement is the interactive game room, designed with entertainment in mind. Imagine arcade games, a pool table, and a foosball table. To ensure that no one misses out on the big game, Innovative Sight & Sound installed two impressive 85″ Samsung TVs, providing ample screen time for everyone to cheer on their favorite teams. The custom-built cocktail bar adds a touch of sophistication, featuring a stylish 55″ Samsung Frame TV, which can showcase sports highlights or blend seamlessly into the décor when not in use. 

Thanks to the Control4 Halo remote and the Control4 app, all lighting and media systems can be easily controlled, allowing the homeowners to adjust everything with just a few taps. The Wi-Fi solutions from Ruckus and Arkanis products ensure that connectivity is always strong, making it easy for guests to stay connected and enjoy their favorite content. 

7.4.4 Speaker System Crowns Dedicated Home Theater

The dedicated home theater room is truly the icing on the cake. It features a stunning 120″ Screen Innovations screen paired with a top-of-the-line Sony 4K Laser projector. To create an immersive sound experience, 7.4.4 JBL Synthesis in-wall theater speakers were installed, ensuring every sound is crisp and clear. With comfortable theater seating, this space is perfect for movie nights or binge-watching sessions with family and friends. 

Room Layout Prioritizes Multiple Uses Among Family Members

Working closely with the client, the design team thoughtfully considered the room’s layout and functionality, such as allowing those making drinks at the cocktail bar to watch the TVs in the background.
