Bowers & Wilkins has announced its new Px7 S2 active, noise-canceling headphones.
The popular, global audio manufacturer says that its latest headphones are built around an all-new acoustic platform that is designed to produce high levels of sound quality. The headphones incorporate newly developed, custom-designed 40mm drivers that are said to offer fast response times.
Bowers & Wilkins says the new 40mm drivers are set at specific angles within each ear cup to help ensure a consistent distance relative to users’ ears across every point of each driver to enable the headphones to produce a more natural and immersive listening experience.
Other features built into the newly announced Px7 S2 headphones include aptX Adaptive wireless technologies that automatically optimize wireless audio transmissions from compatible devices such as computers, phones, and tablets. These wireless technologies are combined with Bower & Wilkins’ digital signal processing (DSP) to provide users 24-bit sound capabilities.
According to the company, the new headphones support USB-C and 3.5mm cabling connections, and these cables are included, along with a carrying case.
