Xantech has a long history within the residential custom electronics industry that is highlighted by its leadership in the IR control category.  Branching out from its core IR control line of products, the Core Brands company has introduced its new EX Series of HDMI cables.

Launched at the recently completed ISE 2017 show in Amsterdam, the new EX HDMI cables have been engineered to meet the high-speed performance requirements to support the latest A/V specifications.

“The Xantech brand is synonymous with IR and connectivity solutions for residential and commercial applications,” says Neal Ellsworth, product manager, new initiatives, Core Brands. “Today we extend Xantech's reputation for value-added innovation to a product category that integrators are using on almost every project. Xantech's new HDMI cable series delivers the high performance value that integrators need for the growing number of video installations they work on every day.”

Xantech's new HDMI cables deliver up to 4K Ultra HD at 60Hz with 4:4:4 subsampling with a pixel rate of 600MHz. The products support high dynamic range (HDR) and bandwidth capabilities greater than 18Gbps.

All of the cables feature the company's C-Grip locking connectors that resist more than 10 pounds of force to eliminate dealers having to roll trucks to fix the common problem of loose cabling connections.

The EX Series of HDMI cables are available in .7-, 1-, 1.5-, 2,-, 3-, 4-, 5-, 7.5- and 10-meter lengths, and cables up to four meters will also be available in bulk packs.

Xantech says the EX Series of HDMI cables will be available this March.
