Everything is bigger in Texas.

On the heels of the positive 2015 CE Pro State of the Industry study that reported on the aggregate 27 percent median revenue growth for integrators last year, an up-close-and-personal exemplification of that confidence can be seen at HomeTronics in Dallas.

There, owner Greg Margolis is set to break ground on an awesome, two-story 12,000-square-foot new showroom due to be completed by CEDIA Expo 2015 in Dallas. Check out these exterior drawings.

“It will have a huge Auro/Atmos theater, 2-channel, family room, game/sports bar, outdoor entertainment area on the second-floor deck, and a few other surprises,” says Margolis, who adds that the project has been in the works for more than one year.

HomeTronics recently won the CEA TechHome Mark of Excellence Award for the Best Home Theater/Media Room over $50,000. Designed to have total immersion, the theater was first residential Auro 3D audio system in the U.S. It has seating for 20 and uses a four-way masking screen and 28 loudspeakers, 12 subwoofers and 55 channels of amplification with California Audio Technology components.

CE Pro will be following the progress of the new HomeTronics showroom as it progresses from groundbreaking to grand opening. I only have one question: Can I get a tour during CEDIA Expo this fall in Dallas?
